Psychopaths are thought to make up as much as roughly 1 percent of the general populace and up to 25 percent of the prison population.

So, that’s roughly 30 million psychopaths in the U.S.  1 out of every 100 people you meet, work with, or socialize with could potentially be a psychopath.  That’s a chilling statistic.
